Background

Kambera House is currently one of the social activity centers of the Kawan Baik Indonesia Foundation which is fully supported by the Fair Future Foundation. Activation of activities at the Kambera House began with becoming a Disaster Response Command Post for distribution of aid, receiving donations to coordinating cross-organizational volunteers.

From social work with volunteers for field activities, Rumah Kambera also accommodates to be one of the light construction workplaces such as welding frames for relief tanks, woodworking to light steel for disaster response assistance to handling Covid-19 in East Sumba Regency.

Rural areas of Sumba which are still minimal or even do not have sanitation and clean water facilities require appropriate assistance with an efficient and effective work system, for that Kambera House is a place for trials, concept evaluations to precise calculations for the construction of affordable sanitation facilities. , the work process with a disassembly system for time effectiveness to optimizing the use of economical materials.

Goal
  1. Meeting the needs of public sanitation facilities and facilities for social activities carried out at Rumah Kambera, can accommodate the active needs of 10 – 30 people.
  2. As a form of test design and design that is effective and efficient to be repeated, it is built in remote areas that do not allow for too long work.
