Can guys guess what mama’s doing?

“Mama” is a term for mothers in Sumba. Mama was cooking water taken from a spring that is at least 800 meters from the construction site, to serve as drinking water for the workers. Unique fact: water is generally transported on foot or by buffalo which is the mode of transportation of most people in Mbinudita.

The photo was taken during the initial pining process of the foundation of the redevelopment of SD Mbinudita.
