Since the flood began to recede, the people of East Sumba affected by the disaster face other difficulties. Not only houses drifted, property lost, crops damaged, livestock washed away, land covered in mud coupled with difficulty accessing clean water. Flash floods damage piping lines, pollute well water and other water sources that are usually the daily source of water for the community. Everyday people affected by one of them in Kambera sub-district can only wait for clean water to be distributed from water tank trucks that travel around difficult locations every day. Although the tanker truck passed by, some people still struggled to accommodate because of the limitations of water reservoir facilities, the complaint then decided Kawan Baik to distribute aid in the form of water reservoirs in order to accommodate clean water that was distributed.
