Good Friends of Indonesia and the Fair Future Foundation have just held a PMC Training for our friends in East Sumba.
What are PMCs?
Primary Medical Care is one of the health programs where Kawan Baik Indonesia (KBI) and the Fair Future Foundation will provide basic health training that focuses on teaching participants. The PMC training was attended by 50 participants from PAUD teachers, Kindergarten and Elementary School at the Charis Sumba school, teaching volunteers for several Reading Gardens, the East Sumba TP PKK Team, Village Health Cadres, and volunteers from Sumba Volunteers.
On the second day, the participants continued the Primary Medical Care training which was delivered directly by dr. Alex and dr. Aldo with the help of the First Action Module if No Doctor is available. On a different theme, Ms. Ardy from Charis’ school also delivered the Healthy Friends Module, an illustration from Ms. Bayu Bhargawa. In addition to the learning materials obtained, Good Friends of Indonesia formed a WhatsApp group for a consultation forum between participants, Dr. Aldo and the Foundation Team.
