Happy Monday, friends!
For those who are fasting, have a good time waiting to break your fast while reading our story.
Working to build public facilities and supporting facilities, including the transfer of knowledge with residents in remote areas, is often mentally and physically draining. The limitations of language, culture, and different understandings, while having to bridge all of them while always checking the suitability of work against the timeline is our daily food. Tired? Certainly. But we have our own way to relax and unwind for a moment to unravel the confusion in our heads.
The beautiful nature of Sumba spoils the eyes and the camera lens, and wherever you point the shutter the results will always be beautiful without a filter. This is one way for us to unwind, thank the universe for all its creations under the sky.
Since 2019 we have been working here, working with local partners and residents to bring access to health and education closer. It was not a short period of time until we recognized the valleys and savannas complete with their horses; familiar with the beach and the slowly setting sun’s fireball. And we want to share a little bit when our team and Fair Future Foundation took a break in the middle of work, charging the spirit battery while taking a few breaths so that we face the next day fresh and healthy.
Enjoy!
