Several #WaterConnection dots have been connected, thanks to the enthusiasm and hard work of the residents of #Mbinudita to get closer to access to clean water and healthy sanitation. From about 270 hectares of survey area, we connected 75 hectares of them, completed three reservoirs and opened a route for 1.26 km of connecting pipes which will continue to grow. The water that finally flows from the tap at SD Mbinudita can also be enjoyed. Several ferrocement reservoirs that were built in settlements also function well and are used by residents. You can participate in seeing and enjoying the process through the interactive map on our website, tracing the blue line as a marker for the pipeline between the main reservoir to the settlement. Just click on the small icons on the map, then on the left side of your screen a accompanying description will appear complete with photos taken by our team in #Sumba with @fairfuturefoundation.
In addition to words, for us, data is a weapon to fight underprivileged access to health and education. We collect data through surveys in the field while working on ongoing projects. On the basis of participatory work, we also collect data from interactions with residents. This makes it easier to map the problem while looking for the best solution according to the conditions in the field. We process all of these pieces of information and present them for you to see, hear and feel, borrowing our eyes, ears, and hearts.
Please visit our website at the link in bio to experience first hand how the water droplets are connected. You can also help the blue line on the map become longer and more branched through donations via e-wallet DOKU, OVO, DANA, Gopay, BCA, CIMB, Maybank, ShopeePay, Sinarmas, and Bluepay by visiting the Donation Page link.
Thank you for sharing this blessing.
