Clean water transforms lives. Through the construction of twelve rainwater harvesting systems, this project provides safer, closer, and more reliable water access for communities in Kawangu Village and Mbatapuhu Village throughout the year.

 

Our Action

- Construct 12 ferrocement rainwater storage tanks with a capacity of approximately 5,300 liters each.
- Install complete rainwater harvesting systems including guttering and basic filtration.
- Improve clean water access for PAUD facilities and Kawan Sehat community health service points.
- Reduce the burden of water collection for vulnerable households during the dry season.
- Promote improved sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Establish and strengthen Community Water Management Committees.-

 

Our Goals

Twelve beneficiary locations including early childhood education centres, vulnerable households, Kawan Sehat community health service points, and hundreds of direct and indirect beneficiaries across Kawangu Village and Mbatapuhu Village, Haharu Subdistrict, East Sumba Regency.

Total project budget for 12 sets: IDR 589,326,000 (approximately IDR 49,110,500 per set).).
