Saturday 17 October 2020 Kawan Baik Co. collaboration with Kunang Jewelry will join the first Mana Saturday Local Market where Earthly Paradise Ubud starts from 12.00 – 17.00.
Disur from Kunang Jewelry will share with us how to make soap from cooking oil residues during the Market. Not only sharing his awareness of reusing waste, Kunang will also carry some alluring jewelry made of recycled metal and fabric.
Here is the second collaboration of Kawan Baik Co X Firefly Jewelry. The first is intended to support the people in Bali #kawanbaikberbagi. This second collaboration will support the community in East Sumba. Kawan Baik Indonesia, Fair Future Indonesia, and the local committee are committed to rebuilding schools in Mbinu Dita. By providing schools, we provide a place for teaching and learning programs to improve their quality of life.
Foundations and village community groups have started construction since August 2020. Some members of the foundation have just come from the school’s website; even we were fully involved in the project, it was a very different perspective when we were directly on site in Sumba. This situation demands extraordinary effort; It’s under the skin. Our goal is to complete the building by mid-November, and we need support from all of you to bring a better future for these children and communities.
