For too long, access to clean water was a luxury that many of us couldn’t afford. It was particularly challenging for children, pregnant women, and those considered vulnerable. They endured unimaginable hardships. But we refused to accept this as the norm. We wanted a solution that would provide immediate relief and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. Our project is a shining example of innovation, commitment, and hope.
Our ingenious approach involves capturing rainwater during the monsoon season through a massive roof, that of the church in one of the world’s driest regions. Through an ingenious and innovative system, we have built enormous reservoirs that stand as guardians, storing and filtering rainwater to create an abundance of clean and safe water when the dry season arrives. This also allows us to keep water, which we deliver by 5000-liter truckers when it doesn’t rain for several months and the storage tanks are empty.
